I think your question is confusing. What do you mean by an SEO technique.
I think you need to understand that SEO is one single strategy to drive traffic to your blog, and the techniques are to research your keywords thoroughly for the topics you write about.
Use these keywords in your posts's title and at least once in every paragraph.
What you really want to do if anything is good keyword research, there are a lot of tools you could use including google's keyword external and http://www.live-keyword-analysis.com.
As far as SEO is concerned, these are some of the things which you may apply to enhance your traffic.
I am not an SEO expert but I felt some of the answers your post got are for general traffic strategies.

PPC works better, or if you do not like forums and social bookmarking events, you can always hire someone to do the dirty work for you.I want to be forums, blogs and take my time. All I want is that my site is easy for one month, even if the payment of money.
