You can put them in your theme's code, or using some widgets.
To get traffic, you first need to write good content, use social media, post on forums and comment on blogs to get links and rank better in search.
These are only a few tips, you need to learn and work hard to get some traffic

In your layout page click on add gadget. One pf the options in the pop up is an adsense add on

There's an icon or place deisgnated called LAYOUT.
Go there and click GAGETS and then look for Adsense on one of the roll down menues. They give you many options.

You can add the html/script gadget then paste your adsense code there. By using this gadget instead of the Adsense gadget, you can have more control on it since you can insert html/javascript code there together with your adsense script.

theres a build in plugin in blogger for adding adnsense.. i never use them i take the code from adsens and paste it in a html gadget

Adsense
select moetize option

For higher rates i always prefer

First of all give the best look to the blog.
Than put the unique content.
Than build the links, temporary and permanent both.

It gives the traffic because you have to keep in mind that content is the king.

you can ad your adsense ads directaly to your blogspot blog .just applay from your dashboard and allow it from your adsense account

I am fond of using the HTML/JavaScript Gadget for my Adsense ads in Blogger. I like it better than the Adsense gadget since I can add code before and after the Ad script. In that way, you have more control on it.

First copy your ad code then login to your blogger account from there click on design.then click on add a new gadget and click on html and paste your code and save.Thats it.

For increasing traffic put more concentration on off site seo optimization.

Hi Cara,

Placing Google ads on blogger easy very simple just follow these steps.

1. log in to the blogger account and then click on the blog.
2. Go to dashboard and then see at the bottom there is a link " Google adsence" click on that put your id and then verify it with the last five digit of phone number.
3. If you want to edit the ad format then go to design and click on the gadget which name as adsence and then edit according to your need.

Blog unless you can communicate with the world, you can also earn money with them. The addition of ads on Google AdSense does, that empty space. If you are using a beta version of Blogger, click "Add Page Elements" to Adsense.
