Post subject: About researching on advertisements

Has anybody been researching and/or asking the administrators of forums (that includes thousands of members) how their advertisements have been done?
I heard from a couple of people at some forums from admins that the members at his/her forums has been chaining words about the forums so that's how they make 100 members/day!
What can be some good ways of getting people to word it out about your forums?

| Well the thing is i just wanted to know if there were any possiblities of finding out ways of advertising. It's incredible how a forum gets about 150+ members/day! So maybe if i was good with advertising as them i might as well sell products and makes tons. |
