Can anyone please help me in finding a good ,"free" mailing
list provider. The mailing list should include the following features.
1. unlimited no. of subscribers
2. double opt in
3. personalisation.
4. bandwidth level (i am not sure if it)
5. one way
6. proper subscribe/unsubscribe
7. no. of times a day the mail can be sent
8. can get back the list.
( Sorry for including the features)
Please include if there are any other important features.
-- Does getresponse free version allow/have these features.
thank you,
anand. |

You won't find all of that in a free autoresponder. The same old saying still applies. You get what you pay for.
I use the Email Go Getter System. Its a free autoresponder that I have installed on my server. It has its limits, which I am currently willing to work within. Eventually, I will be moving on to a new system, since the limitations of EGGS will eventually be reached.
So decide what features are critical, and try to find a free service that offers as many of those as possible. Or buy a hosting package and install your own system. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

I have two lists on Your Mailing List Provider I have had no problems with them. It's the best free account I've tried.
The basic service is free. With the free account you can't import a list and messages are limited to one per day (not counting test messages.)
Premium version has more features and starts at $2.50/month.
Both types are opt-in, automated archives and automated signup/unsubscribe. You can download your list, too. |
