HTML compression is used to speed up the transfer of your website over a modem. Is that what you are looking for?
Why the worry about locking down your source code for your website? Most systems do not work, and are a waste of money.
Image compression software - I use Paint Shop Pro from Jasc. I have Version 7, but I think they are up to ver 9 right now. At least ver 8.
And I am not sure about the Paypal stuff. I think that there is a module you can add to Dreamweaver to do that, and I remember seeing some tools online once. Just google for it. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

1. Some programs promise to "encrypt" your HTML. Unfortunately, it's not possible. Essentially, if you want a visitor to be able to read your website... you have to let them see the HTML. Some things may make it more difficult to copy your HTML, but nothing will make it impossible (or even very difficult).
2. Your best bet is actually going with a host that will install or has installed an Apache module called 'mod_gzip'. It will compress files on the fly and achieves better results than software which typically just strips out whitespace and unnecessary tags.
3. Paintshop Pro and Photoshop, two good image manipulation products, both enable you to choose how much or how little to compress an image.
4. I'm not sure what you mean by this -- what aspect of paypal do you want to encrypt? _________________ Low Cost, High Quality Hosting -- free urchin stats, mini-sites available
