Hi there,
Two weeks ago I've launched http://go-pedia.com/ - a site about travel and travel deals.
Yesterday, I started its forum at: http://forum.go-pedia.com/.
Since I'm really at the beginning, I would really appreciate some hints on how to improve them both.

I really don't understand.
I have posted this post for my site review. The post itself had 71 views but no single click on my site at all.
Anyone, any idea why?

I suggest changing the design...it needs to be a little brighter, more colors for this niche.
The niche is competitive, but it`s good...you can get high money from clicks

Go-pedia travel is now renewed. I have used a standard Joomla template.
I could really appreciate some ideas for making it better, even maybe another Joomla template.

Well, I don't quite "understand" the site, or maybe I'm just too tired at the moment.
In any case, the word "whether" is spelled incorrectly in your top description.
Actually, that entire sentence that begins with "It doesn't matter if..." is rather long and confusing.
I would also put the bit about "You can always find the best deals here." right after the sentence "All about travel."
Hope that helps a bit.

| For the forum, you can pay people to participate (this is how many forums garner interest), when visitors see that people are contributing to the forum, they are more likely to contribute too |

| You could join blogs and other forums realated to travel, show yourself as an expert on the matter, and pretty soon other travel site and related blogs wll start linking to you |

If you provide travelling services, there should be some images presenting tours you are offering. I was surprised to see nothing related to that. There is only info and descriptions only.
So, my advice is to make it compelling and appealing! |
