My forum is a community to discuss different ways of making money on-line. I have been running the forum for about 4 months now and the problem I have is that I have over 300 members but hardly any of them seem to actually post anything. I try to make all my threads as professional looking as possible but the members just seem to join and then i hardly see most of them again.
Can anyone please give me an honest opinion as to where I may be going wrong.
Also my board was a lot bigger but i deleted a lot of the forums and combined others so that it didn't look to empty.
Any advice will be much appreciated. |

Craig, we have 1000s of members here but only a few dedicated posters. We have quite a number of new posters who carry on a conversation to get some info and seldom post again. Of course, there are lots of spammers who get deleted.
That appears to be how it works. You will need to do a lot of the work for some time providing topics and answers. Allan Gardyne did that here - he's having a "rest" at present. I'm just the moderator but I try to keep a happy ship. You'll notice a number of doubtful posts getting through but that's life.
