PPC = Pay Per Click ( A form of advertising used for businesses like adwords, yahoo search marketing etc ) you bid on keywords to have your ad appear and when they are clicked you pay that amount in exchange for that visitor.
PPV = Pay per visitor ( places like clicksor )

ppc is pay per click method which by google adword,microsoft adcenter,yahoo,adbrite etc.,
ppv is pay per view.It generally a cheap means of advertisement.for start up it cost you more than 200$ some advertiment company cost you more than 1000$ start up.

I believe whether one's better than the other depends on your goal/budget.
If you want to get traffic fast, then these PPC & PPV - paid methods should work. But last as long as you allocate an amount $$ to them.
Why not also try organic methods like SEO - purportedly lasts longer i.e. if your site appears on google on SERP 1, then you can bet it'll be there for weeks, months, years - if there isn't anything on your site that violates anything. But of course, this takes more work and can't expect instant result

Which is better PPC or PPV? For me PPV or Pay Per View is better than PPC because in PPV you can earn a lot of money, more secure and and always a guaranteed payment system. |

Google AdSense and there are lots of AdSense solution which pay you based on pay-per-click ads. Pay-per-click is loosing it's popularity day by day and many publishers doesn't suggest to use pay-per-click because of their bad experiences i.e. account freezing for invalid clicks. It's also seen that many people earn more than $100 but their account is being disabled for some reasons. From my recent experience, most of the PPC companies are not paying much for pay-per-click ads. Moreover, most companies are not also optimize PPC ads. The reason for this type of situation might be the negative impact of their business.
PPV is more familiar than PPC. Do you know? In the above paragraphs, I explain both PPC and PPV. For example, you have a website and you get 1000 visitors every day. If you use PPV, then you may get $1-$4 per day. Thus you can easily earn $30-$120 every month. But for PPC, you can get lots of traffic. You may get 1000 visitors every day. If no visitor click on the ads, your earnings are $0. This is the worst case scenario. Is it safe? I think not. Thus PPV has a ig return on investment and people are much interested on PPV rather than PPC. PPV is cost-effective, more secure and always a guaranteed payment system. |

High quality traffic. Customers are actively seeking out your keywords which can lead to very high conversion rates.
Ability to target narrowly. You can target by more specifically by location with PPC than you can PPV.
Cheap traffic and lots of it. With minimum bids starting at $0.01 you can get a lot of traffic for not much money.
- Ability to target certain sites. This is kind of like trademark bidding with PPC except you’ll never get your keywords disapproved for it.

I've had a little more experience with PPC than PPV.
They can both be good, but with PPV, I didn't like the idea of the pop-up or the pop-under because people can close a pop-up.
With PPC, a person volunteers to click an ad, so he shows some interesting in what you're offering.
To save money, it's better to go the SEO route.

| No one likes the popups, it's the reason ppv is not being championed as much as ppc, people tend to stick with what currently works |

Personally, I would start with PPV, purely as its relatively simple as opposed to PPC, plus less competition. No need to worry about quality scores, slaps, etc, etc. Plus you are not penalized for direct linking to CPA landing pages.
In addition, you can immiediately compete and steal traffic from other people based solely on bid price. Plus target traffic that was not aiming for the paid search results by bidding on urls' and popular site keywords, natural serps results, popular sites like youtube and facebook, etc.
