Post subject: What would you pay for logo design?
|
|
|
Hi guys,
Just doing a bit of research, your feedback would be greatly appreciated . I would like to put my years of Graphic Design experience back to work! I am thinking of setting up a website where customers can buy basic logo design packages online at very low prices.
I just wanted to know (especially from new start up owners) what sort of budget you set aside for your logo design and would a low price put you off? Also would you expect to be able to get your stationery design and printing in the same place as your logo?
Thanks in advance _________________ Rubber |

I know that I wouldn't pay more than $47 for 2 concepts and 2 revisions....
Because that is the deal at The Logo Monkey.

Pretty easy. Size up your abilities with known and ranking sites online. If your work is on par with theirs then charge similar to their rates.
Bottom line is you can or you can't.
This guy is among the very best:

Have been using fiverr for logos. Price is crazy cheap.
Many people use it to find clients then have an ongoing relationship at more reasonable rates. Maybe you can buy the service for nix and onsell it?
Anyway may be worth registering as a supplier, doing some jobs and seeing how they go, just for the experience. You'll end up with customers all over the world. Just google the name to find the site.
Cheers

| The most important thing is the quality of your designs. You can charge more if you design good quality logos. |

Hello Rubber
It could be $10 - $50 for a logo based on the complexity of the design. |

Hi there,
I am a UK web designer.
I would not pay anymore more than £50 to £100 for a professional logo from a studio.
If you could educate yourself on logo design it would be much cheaper!

Like with many other things, you get waht you pay for.
A logo form your regular online designer though is different. I would say 50-$100 to get a well designed logo.
If you just want something that looks ok to put at the top left corner on your site, you can get something decent as low as $20. _________________ Coffee Cake Recipe - Homemade Playdough Recipe - Homemade Clay Recipe - Ginger Beer Recipe |

You definitely get what you pay for. You can get a decent logo for very cheap, but if you want to go through a designer, I would say about $100. _________________ Andrea Becker

That may fly for affiliate marketing purposes, but I have never and WILL NEVER sell a design for less than a five hundred sixty dollars (4 hours design, 2- one revisions @ $95.00/hour standard national rate for a freelance designer), in the same way that I do not blog for 3 cents per word and I dont write articles at 25 dollars. When I design logos for businesses I am selling a limitless piece of my work that is intended to become the public image of a company for many years. I am being paid to make sure that that image reflects the brand of the company, that the values of the company are evidenced, and that the company's target markets will embrace the brand image and messaging based on a token image. I also have hard gained skills that I paid dearly to learn and perfect. The mentality that my work, or the work of any designer, web or graphic, a writer, photographer, what have you, should work for pennies is ridculous. _________________ Latest reviews @: largest web hosting fastest web hosting |

This seems like an area that is so saturated with companies that do great work and can out promote the avg joe. Not sure it would be worth spending a ton of time at. _________________ Make Money Without Getting Out Of Your Lounge Pants!
