Post subject: Fun: What was the first thing you bought from commissions?

Thought I'd start this for fun. Im wondering, what was the first thing that all of you have bought from affiliate programs, adsense...etc?
Me? I'm heading out right now to buy myself a new golf club that ive been wanting for awhile but couldnt justify the amount it would cost. I'll then be heading out to the range to hit a few balls.
I know its not much, but its fun having extra money for almost doing nothing, and it's nice knowing that I'll have some side money to buy things that i normally wouldnt!
I've made a nice little chunk of money this week from affiliate programs and adsense. Glad I found you guys! _________________ Discounted Golf Equipment

First commisiions earned were less than a postal stamp.
When real money came in, it was dinner for my better half and myself.
Nice location, good service, excellent food.
Helped to compensate for my nights spend in front of the PC. _________________ Explore The Most Up to Date Site About How to Succeed with Adwords! |

Dinner...
Now it goes to pay off bills. My commissions are still pretty low. I only do this part-time and nothing don't devote a lot of time to any of my sites. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Reassurance that it wasn't one great big hoax.
After that (and still to this day), I threw every penny into that bottomless pit they call the holiday fund. I plan a string of "season chasing" properties across Europe...
The trouble is, they are taking some researching by travelling while I'm saving up. Nothing in life is simple.
Cheers,

My very first check went to buying a domain name instead of using a free host (back in 1997).
I remember I was so excited when I was earning $1 a day. _________________ JP Sauve

My first affiliate check was around $ 400... I bought some more domains from it and upgraded my hosting package. _________________ A.C. Moore Coupons - Design - Smart Ones Coupons |

| My very first sponsor was actually paying 2 cents per click... and he dumped me after I earned about $100! Turned out he didn't pay anyone, but I'm sure glad I didn't let that stop me. |

What do you mean bank it?
Frame it and put it on the wall...
I thought everyone did that.

That's very true, but some banks allow you to group more than one cheque on the same paying in slip without paying anything extra.
This can be handy for multiple small cheques.
It's either that, or move out of affiliate programs and grab shares in banks.
Just a thought,
