Post subject: Web host with forums?
|
|
|
I am looking for a web host that offers forums in it's host package at a reasonable price. Preferably UK based. However, i do not mind it being based elsewhere just as long as it is as reliable as a host from the UK would be in terms of keeping content secure etc
Also, their support service should be pretty good as i am kind of new to all of this, so i know i will require help at some point.
Thanks in advance! |

You can host a Forum on nearly any cPanel host.
If you think the host is going to provide support for your forum questions... sadly that's not going to happen.
The Host will provide support for hosting issues only and the software you install on the host will NOT be supported.
In a world of $7.99 a month shared hosting there simply isn't enough profit to pay a staff to support software.
Think about what you are really asking.
And if you have plans to grow and sustain a Forum you had best be prepared for a lot of time spent learning how to operate the features of the Forum on your own.
Forums are very difficult to manage. You WILL be attacked by spammers as you grow.
And you'll need plenty of time set aside to moderate. Forums are one of the most difficult ways to earn money online. _________________

First, a large amount of space on the forum is necessary. The bandwidth is also an important key, because it should show the huge amount of traffic that your forum will take. The next thing to make the server availability. Most companies provide about 99%. Uptime is also important so that people can always log into your forum. _________________ dell coupons |

In the internet today, there are more and more content being shared and viewed everyday. A popular platform to do so is an online forum. Forum discussions are getting popular with the ever growing online community that shares and exchange views and opinion in the internet. Like any other website, a forum need o be on the internet to viewed and it need a web hosting to achieve that purpose. How can a forum be good? The answer simply lies in the hands of the web hosting company. A web hosting provider plays a vital role in the success of an online forum.Firstly, a big amount of space is needed for the forum. Bandwidth is also an important key because you need it to support the huge amount of traffic that will hit your forum. The next thing to look out for is the server uptime. Most company out there provides 99%. Uptime is also important so that people can always log into your forum. Furthermore, a good forum will need a good database system to manage the huge amount of data. MySQL, DBS and phpAdmin is important to ensure good data management. One more thing to look out for is the security support that the hosting provider provides. This is important so that your forum is free from hackers or virus and all your information safe. To have your forum performing consistently, you will need a good service support from the provider company so that any issues that you might face can be solved in the shortest time possible. Therefore, before you start a forum of your own, go and search for a provider that can provide you with all the aspects that we have discussed here. Do so and you forum will perform well. So, do a fine research of all the companies of your choice and make a smart decision. After that, enjoy all the stuff that is going to happen in your forum.
