Mager, if you want to create an affiliate program for your product and get affiliates to sell for you then that sounds like it might be the right ebook for that topic ... however, if you want to become an affiliate and earn commissions on referrals, then you should look at prior threads and recommendations for alternatives.
There are a large variety of products (overwhelming in fact) that cover doing PPC (pay per click advertising) to generate visitors to your merchant's site, creating minisites, microsites, and content sites, using the SE's to drive free traffic, etc. If you browse the forum, you can get a good foundation on the types of sites and ways to drive traffic, then decide on which way is right for your personality and situation.
Once you have an idea of what you want to do, and how you want to do it, then the product you need is a lot easier to find.

Debs, thanks for the detailed answer. I am interested in managing and promotiong affiliate program.
Actually I'm SEO specialist, but recently our company get an order to promote one international affiliate program in Russia. There are a few appropriate russian resources about this topic so i have to search them everywhere.
As I see this forum is the right place. I would be very pleased if you give me some useful links about: internal organization of affiliate program, optimal comission structure, advertising strategy. |

I have both Neil Durrant's ebook and "Successful Affiliate Marketing for Merchants" - a paper book by Frank Fiore and Shawn Collins.
Although Neil, Shawn (and possibly Frank) are experts, both these books are looking a little dated now... at least the versions I have.
Having said that, they do provide a great deal of good information that is still relevant.
To be honest though, I tend to look at it from the other side of the fence...
Try looking at what affiliates are most interested in - good tracking, lifetime customers and the like.
If you read Sitesell's 5 Pillar Program guide and the various articles from Allan Gardyne you will have these issues made clear for you. Also take a look at...

...for a detailed comparison of affiliate program software for merchants.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

Mager, there are several threads on here that go into great detail about those items you are interested in learning about. Try the search feature or browse the forums for more information.
I am not familiar with affiliate management so that's the best I can do.

Thanks for all advices. I've already red Sitesell's 5 Pillar Program and found it too abstract.
Although it's clear that only own real experience may give valuable knowledge. |

Neil's book is a very good place to start. He writes in simple, no-hype language and covers a lot of ground. Also, he's writing from his own experience. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Look at Sitesell and other companies with successful affiliate programs. If you join you will see how they operate. No matter what they say, the best lessons lie in what they do.
The trick is to fathom out the why.
Hope this helps,
