Hi,

I'm new to the forum but wondered if anyone could advise how I go about getting paid affiliate commission as an affiliate I am with is not paying my Invoices and not answering my emails. What can I do to ensure that I receive payment. They are a reasonably sized Travel Company.

Go back and read the affiliate agreement to make sure there isn't a payment threshold and that you fully understand the terms of payment.

Then if you do and you are right... you can send an email, and make a few calls.

If you don't get paid you move on. This happens all the time.

This is why you need to really evaluate your business partners before you jump in.

Yes be sure you have checked the payout threshold, as it might say you get paid at the end of the month but if it says else where ( if you earn $100 ) then you have to hit that before they pay

Get on the phone with them and ask to speak to the affiliate manager saying your interested in promoting them. Dont tell them your calling to grill them about the non payment

Once on say you have and wish to promote them but have not received payment

If they dont respond via phone and are evasive.. move on and stick with merchants who have a good name

Shareasale is great place for finding people who dont screw affiliates around

Hi,

If that means Accounts Manager or my Accountant, he knows I've had problems with this affiliate but perhaps I should let him know I still haven't been paid. Not sure that he can do anything different to me though but it's a thought so I'll give him a try!

Hi Brenda,

Yes, I was referring to your affiliate managers. Give it a try because I know if one of my affiliates was posing issues as such I would do everything to help find a resolution. Let me know what happens.

Hi Jeff,

I wrote to the affiliate manager about 2 weeks ago but didn't receive a reply, so I have written again today informing her officially of my complaint and see if that gets any response.

I sent the Invoices to the person who requested them who is actually the joint owner with her husband of the Holiday Rental Company.

I'll let you know how I get on!
