Post subject: Possible Fraud?
|

Hi Everyone,
In reviewing affilate performance for last month, I noticed one affiliate only had about 15 hits, but over 60 sales. Could this be a possible red flad?
Thanks,

How are you measuring the hits?
Could the affiliate have done a promotion using a plain text affiliate link, or an .htaccess redirect, for example in a newsletter or on social media sites, or on a free PDF report, so they were sending you visitors without hits being registered?
With some affiliate programs I belong to, my stats show zero hits but I'm getting sales. _________________ Allan Gardyne

My hits often exceed what is tracked because I use cloaking and redirects.
Nothing seedy or underhanded going on... might just be smart about how they protect their affiliate links. And that is a person you WANT on your team. _________________

| Thank you both for your inputs. Hits were tracked through ShareaSale, so I'll have to do more research on that. |
