Hi,
I recently took the experience I have from my full time job and turned it into an e-book that I think could be great considering the economy and everything.
This is my first website, so I was hoping to get some reviews, suggestions, etc?

Hi Yossarian,
Nicely done web site, especially for your first site.
My suggestions would be to focus more on the positives (WIIFM-what is in it for me), especially in the headline and subheadline. In your copy..."Here are a few examples" might be material to consider for a bulleted headline. (IMO) Your reader may be less apt to leave, if they see how you or your product might help them. What are they looking for, why are they at your site? Use these answers to develop positive headline and subheadline.
Your Newsletter might be used as a "freebie" incentive to get email capture...recommend email capture on a separate web page with tickler (click for your free thank you gift) on main page...(some might consider this suggestion as a distraction)...test both ways.
Do you have ecovers for your ebook and bonuses? If so, include them, to increase perceived value.
I think you might want to reword copy...As a manager in charge of hiring for a large company, I know what is going on behind the scenes. I know what is preventing you from being hired...etc.
The negatives might be better applied in your "urgency" and that your (customer's) delay just prolongs these miseries.
