Post subject: PLR product with an affiliate program..good idea or bad?
|
|
|
Is this a good idea?
I'm looking at creating a product and I want to offer resell rights to buyers so they can resell it. The plan is to sell it on clickbank.
Is this a bad idea to offer an affiliate program for a product that can be resold?
I'm asking because this was a suggestion in a ebook I read.
Thanks!
G
PS. I'm taking a much needed weekend vacation, and I'll reply in several days. _________________ Sig Under Construction |

I wonder how unique this product will be. I understand that there are a lot of junk out there. Creating your own product is the key to financial freedom if the product or service is good and in demand.......Good luck

Do you mean PLR or RR? Private Label Rights means the buyer gets the source file and can make whatever changes they want and then add their name as author. Resell Rights means they can resell the file exactly as is.
There are lots of PLR vendors using Clickbank, not sure about RR though. _________________ How to Make a Website

Thanks for your replies.
Truby,
I'm 99% positive that it's a unique product. I suppose it could be labled a (much) better moustrap too, depending how it's sold.
mike929,
I was thinking RR. Either way, I wonder about the limiting factor for both options.
If you offer an affiliate program on a RR product, it seems that an affiliate program would work. As long as there's no selling limit (only 500 copies will be sold).
I know that whenever you limit something, you increase it's value. There's a trade-off there that I can't put my finger on. Seems improbable for PLR.
Give up the selling limit for great affiliates?

I don't think it's a bad idea.
In fact, check out Tiffany Dow's site PLR Mini Mart to give you an idea how she set hers up. _________________ Easy To Do Niche Affiliate Marketing |
