Post subject: Social bookmarking - how to do it & is it useful?

G'day to everyone! My name is Sergey. I am a total newbie in Affiliate marketing. Would like to know about Social bookmarking. How to do it correctly, do I need to subscribe to special service in order to do this for me, instead of doing this bookmarking manually,like Submit Your Article, for instance; and is Social bookmarking useful to promote my products?

Look at the popular social bookmarking widgets. They contain links to the most popular sites.
Those are the ones you want to join.
Sign up.
Next you want to read how they work and try bookmarking a few sites that are not your own.
Now you want to bookmark a few of your own pages. If you only bookmark you own pages and never return they may be deleted.
You can't install every toolbar in the world so choose carefully.
Social bookmarks work great if your content is topical and interesting to the people that use the services. If it is then they bookmark it as well and your content rises and you gain traffic, exposure, and links pointing back to your site.
That's how it works.

Social bookmarking works in the same way as you would bookmark a favorite webpage to your browser except that there are sites specifically designated for bookmarking whatever you want. That could be a new blog post you make, an article or a video you want people to see.
Bookmarking sites get a lot of traffic, so it's especially good for your blog posts. There are many good bookmarking sites: DIGG, Stumble Upon, Propeller, Sphinn, Tumblr, Newsvine, Mixx and a whole slew of others.
But rather than manually submit your info to each one of these which can take a long time, try to use a social bookmarking submitter. OnlyWire.com is a good one, both free and paid service. Yes, you do have to create an account with each site you want to bookmark with, but OnlyWire saves your passwords for each. After that, it's just click and send. Your stuff is posted all at once.
Try not to bookmark more than ten sites per day so you don't get accused of spamming.

Depends on what you are using it for
If it is to get traffic then you need to spend the time at the social bookmarking sites to build a following
If it is backlinks you are after, a lot of the social bookmarking sites are no follow although one or too do follow

Social bookmarking is online research engine to organize, research, manage for internet users. The first bookmarks list was launch in April 1996. Also its include public and private bookmarks. Social Bookmarking sites are nice source of increasing traffic to the sites & blogs.

the main benefit of social bookmarking is getting traffic and main drawback there are very less targeted and hence low conversion rates.
