I didn't read anything specifically in the TOS that says you can/can't do this.
I would say it is legal, since he is not modifying the ads in any way. He is just making them dynamic on the page. So they move with the page.
You might want to email Google and ask them. They should be able to give you an answer. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

I wonder if that just pisses people off or it actually gets their attention? I would think it is generating more clicks actually..
But it really kills the professionalism of the site. _________________ Discounted Golf Equipment

In my experience, docking ads (be it AdSense or a banner) dramatically increases click-through rates. Some users hate docking, though. |

Hi "Guest",
I don't see the ads moving at all. The webmaster may have stopped it for some reason? (Too bad, would have liked to see it in action... )
Although I don't see it as a violation of terms, however, I feel it best to be on the safe side and check with Google. I for one wouldn't want to annoy them.
Best regards,
Erwin. _________________ Customer Service Point

Erwin, you probably have the same size browser window that I do. The intial page does not scroll.
But if you check some of the others, that are really long, they do.
Or just shorten your browser window. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

hi all.
It turns out that I was just to quick to draw conclusions. After waiting a few more seconds, I saw the effect...
It was a moving experience...
OK, bad joke
Warm regards,

I did notice a problem with it.... he's got five ads showing, but only 4 will fit on the screen so whoever is in the 5th ad will not be seen. If that was me, I'd be quite upset. Google might not approve of that afterall....
oh, and personally, it irritates me to have the ads move...... |
