Hi All
Was invited to join this forum by Clay Mabbit of Affiliate Screen, so I thought I'd drop by and introduce myself.
I have only just launched my ebook and affiliate program and am probably experiencing all the usual problems, so any help anyone can give me to get started would be appreciated.
I'm not sure whether I am allowed to advertise my program here, maybe someone could advise me on that as well. Look forward to hearing from you.

My best advice at this point is to scan the various sections of the forum looking for threads that are relevant to your situation. This is really a special forum full of helpful and friendly colleagues. When you have a specific problem or question post it in the most appropriate section, and you may be surprised by how quickly you get an answer.
It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with the search feature for specific issues, though. You may be asking questions that have already been asked and answered many times over. And the answers in your search results may go beyond what you even thought to ask, and give you alot of valuable info to get your goals accomplished.
If you've searched and still can't find the answer you're looking for, then by all means start a new post about it.
As far as including your ad, it's OK to include a recommended product/service/website/article in your post, IF it is within the context of the discussion and done in the spirit of helping someone. Members often include URLs like these in their replies, but be warned, they will be deleted by the moderator if it is deemed a blatant promotion. So make sure you are only including it with the genuine intent of helping someone, whether you are an affiliate or not.
There are two sections for promoting your programs, one for MLM and one for non-MLM, but it doesn't seem like these posts get many views/replies. They kind of go against the overall spirit of the forum.
There is also a section to request a review of your site, but make sure to follow the moderator's guidelines.
You can also include URLs in your signature and add your websites URL to your profile.
Hope this helps,

Links within posts should not be personal promotion or affiliate links, just so you know. You are allowed to have those in your sig section.

Thanks Debs.
I guess the biggest question I have is how do I find super affiliates? A question most people are porbably asking right?
Will do a search and see what I can find.

There are products out there to find Super Affiliates ... I can't recommend any as I haven't read/used them.
However there are threads on a few things you can do to attract them. Adverts in ezines/newsletters of popular internet marketers ... maybe even a JV with a popular guru. Frequenting forums to "siniff" out the big players using your "sig" to attract them ... maybe approaching them on a one-on-one basis either through PM or email although telephone is best it's hard to do sometimes. PPC adverts also.

Hi Marni
Welcome to the forum. Here's a tip...
You're discussing how to find super affiliates until the heading "Very green newbie here" so a lot of people interested in that topic won't see it.
First, click on "Search" at the top of the page and search for "super affiliates" or "how to find affiliates" or similar phrases. If you can't find what you're looking for, start a new topic. That way, with any luck, the message board will stay organized.
All the best. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Tom,
Graphics are NOT permitted in messages - I allow the smileys so far if they are not overdone and they can be stopped easily. Adding your own custom designed larger images is not required.
Please stay within guidelines.

Ole Tom
I hear you buddy, thanks for the advice. I've taken on a new attitude today. Joining my affiliate program can make you a fair chunk of money if you are prepared to get of your backside and do something about it. So from today, I am not taking NO for an answer. Trust me when I say it's tough to find super affiliates.
In most cases (particularly when you're starting out) there are other affiliate programs matching your program, with more experience, that pay better, convert better, etc. So if there's a super affiliate interested in your niche, he'll most likely already be with the competition.
No worries though, that doesn't mean you can't compete. Work with the affiliate base you have to improve your "mouse trap" and maximize your conversions (which will also max the amount your affiliates will earn).
If you don't have enough affiliates now, or are looking for a boost in traffic/sales, feel free to work with a CPA network who'll broker your offer to THEIR affiliates.
Finally, don't stick necessary with a revenue share program, particularly if you are pushing your campaign through a network. Instead of offer 50% of the sale, you might decide you can pay $2 per form sign up, or something like that. _________________ JP Sauve

Marni,
I just went and checked out your site. I like the changes you have made. Looks more professional now. Glad to see you still have my review on there!
Did you get my response to your email about ways to generate more traffic and affiliates? If not let me know!
Good Luck on finding more affiliates!

Hi !
I am SS.San, a business newbie some 3 months back.
I grab from your post that you have a product ( an e-book) to sell and you are looking some super affiliates to promote it right.
The best idea I can give is promote the product yourself and know the responses, and know the promotional techniques first and then announce the commissions and revenues.
Then you'll find all the supper affiliates beg to sell your product.
You can also check out at my website for the best promotional tools that can make you confident in internet marketing.

SS San, your url should be in your signature (which means below the line) not in the post.
