Post subject: Alternative: Adsense Stop Words ?

Hi,
I have a page with the words "death" and "die".
It's an article about Voodoo and magic.
and I think the page will show PSA.
What do you make when you have stop words
do you re-write ?

You could specify an "alternate ad" in your adsense settings, that way you get to show something other than psa ads if that's what Google decides to send. I've not tried it, but presumably you could make the alternate a banner for one of your affiliates so the space is not wasted.

Hi T32,
Feedback here, this alternate ads thing was a fiasco.
It doesn't work properly , the page show no ads, but unreadable characters .....
I removed the code immediately. |

Steve, there is a specific way to do it ... I believe Google's instructions have been noted as poor on this. Check out about-adsense.com for information if you want to try again.

Check everything carefully.
I'm running alternative ads successfully on this forum. You may see one appear occasionally at the bottom of forum pages instead of the usual AdSense horizontal ads.
I reckon they're "alternative" ads, although AdSense calls them "alternate" ads, because we use them as an alternative to the real thing.
