Yes, I have other sites under construction now. But I won't be posting them here ... I've had too many copycat sites come out since I posted DebtSteps on this forum.

Sorry to here that Debs ... actually, I have facing more or less about the same thing. And I even see that on other people's sites or marketing effort. Like this one time, I saw a Google Adword being copied exactly the same ... but I know that it's a copycat.

Have some worries on this ... that is why like you, kinda reluctant to share people my sites ...

It's funny cause I don't mind people looking at the site, and I certainly don't mind them checking out the html, css, etc., and I've been quite honest about telling them how hard it has been to get traffic/income from this site because it's such a broad niche, it isn't tight at all ... but ... oh well, they will learn over time.

Hi Debs,

Hope that my previous statement was not offending you. I understand your concern on copycat.

The fastest way to learn is to study other people site. I like to study those top rank pages with the same keywords as my site. Research and learn how people optimise their site for SE. However, it is not ethical to copy exactly their idea, design and content. The main purpose of research is to go one step better than others.

Best rgds,
YC

YC, I wasn't offended at all. As I said, I don't mind people learning from my site, and the fact that a couple have copied the theme is more a compliment, than something that offended me. I just know how hard they will find getting ranking and traffic is all.
