Post subject: PRESS RELEASES- Can we link to a Squeeze page??

| when submitting a press release to Press release directories, can we submit the link in our resource box to a squeeze page? (the squeeze page is hardly a business), so is a squeeze page ok to link to in our press release resource box? |

I'd also be interested in knowing the answer to this question. I've been looking all over the forums for general rules about linking policies, and I haven't found one page that clearly lays everything out.

I cannot be sure but from what I have witnessed, if you have a url that is where the press release should point, then yes.

You probably shouldn't, but what you can do is this.
Create a page on your site that is pre-sell to whatever you want them to opt into. Make it 100% informative and don't try and sell.
At the end of the article, have an opt-in form. If you do a good job with the pre-sell, your conversions will be great.
Advanced Strategy:
If you are good at writing, you can create a longer presell - say 1000 words. Split it in two and in the first part, push all the hotbuttons of your market and make it sound very compelling.
Then have them opt-in before thye can read part 2.
Linking to a page like that would be 100% allowed in a PR - as along as it's all releated.
