Which one do you use?

Blogger
Wordpress
Six Apart
TypePad
TMZ.com
LiveJournal

I've heard that WordPress is a Search Engine favorite. What do you think?

I used Blogger last time, now I've switched to
WordPress because it is more professional and
there are many other features you can use.

If you're really serious in your blogging business,
decide now to use WordPress. You'll then need to
have your own domain name and hosting.

I use free blogger blogs to quickly enter a niche, then, if I find the niche is profitable, I get my own wordpress blog on my server, on a subdomain of my main site.

I'm using blogger for now. I have heard that with Wordpress you can't put affiliate links on it. I am an affiliate of amazon and I have a bookstore on my blogger blog. If I were to switch to Wordpress does that mean I wouldn't be able to put it on a Wordpress blog?

I had used both Wordpress and Blogger.
But let me tell you from my experience, that blogger works well if you are making a blog on free domain.
But if you had your own domain, then go for Wordpress. It will give you more benefit.

I have been using both, but blogger has been driving me nuts lately. For professional purposes wordpress is the better of the two. Livejournal is only really good for friends, i still have yet to come across one that has peaked my intereste in anything but a good read.

Wordpress has two kinds of blogs: Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org. Using the .com one, you cannot put affiliate links in, but you can with .org.

With .org, you must have your own domain name and hosting service.

I'm using Blogger and Wordpress. I admit Wordpress is better but what I feel disappointing about it is being "nofollow".

I thought that was user's choice. Could it be that it's your theme and not WP? If you haven't done it already, I suggest that you look around in your Comments Settings, and I think you will find an option--and if you can make the choice, don't forget to click on Save down at the bottom.
