Post subject: Blog Comments Tips - How to Make It Work!

I use blog comments to promote my blogs, and it gives me quite a lot of traffic.
Here is how I do it.
1. The biggest blogs
I post blog comments to the biggest blogs in my niche, because they get a lot of traffic.
Here is a big secret: the blog owners notify their list when they make a new post, and if they have a big list, you'll get some clicks.
2. New posts
I try to post first on new posts
3. Search engines
Whenver I see a blog in a SEs through my researches, I make sure to add my comment.
Try it, it works.
And for intermediate earners, it's even better to outsource this.

It works for now. Years ago guestbook commenting worked just fine.
Then magically Google (The people who command 60% of Search), decided they had seen enough.
And what did they do about it? Well they filtered out the guest books and suddenly all those links to all those sites were effectively penalized. Goodbye rankings.
And how easy is it to go remove all those guestbook links? NOT!
Be careful about putting all your eggs in one promotional basket. You really set yourself up for problems.
So comment relevant ranking blogs and be careful to use different anchor text. But don't make this any more than part of a diversified linking strategy. The same goes for article marketing, or social bookmarking or any other self generated linking campaign method.

Hey,
I'm never putting all my eggs in one basket.
As for comments, they are still strong because you get traffic from the blog, and also from his subscribers. If he has a big lists, you can get a lot of clicks.

Good ideas really.
I have a question. Does commenting on the blogs provide benefit of 'backlink'. Some savvy bloggers can disable backlink by just adding meta tags.

I think comment marketing is a better way to promote blogs than forum marketing, because most forums don't allow members to advertise directly.

There are some tips and tricks behind blog commenting and these are some of my main tips.
1. Find 2-3 blogs that are related to your market.
2. Pick one username for every blog, perhaps the username used to post on your own blog, forums or social media sites.
3. Read their blogs daily not only for tips and information but so you can comment on each article they upload.
4. Add something of value to the article, perhaps ask a question or state your own opinion.
5. Try to be the first blogger to comment back, these are bound to get the most traffic.
6. Become a part of their community, speak your opinion, help others and make friends.

Great tips, thanks for sharing.
These tips truly work. However, you must always
remember that blog comments' effect is not instant.
You'll have to be patience and comment on other
blogs everyday.
The key here is consistency, do it everyday.
And you will see the amazing results from doing it
after that.
