Post subject: Websites built to order?
|
|
|
Rather than learn how to build websites,i'd prefer to hire someone to build them for me at a reasonable fee;this way i can focus on the marketing end of the business.I'd appreciate any recommendations and URL's where i can find what i'm looking for. I've discovered that having your own domain is the on ly way to go in the affiliate business.Prospective customers just find it so much more professional when there isn't an affiliate link at the end of the Url. _________________ Amazing Home Business opportunity

Hi Darrell
What kind of site do you have in mind ? If you have the space having your own traffic exchange in a subdirectory could help your affiliate programs get exposed to more people _________________ Life is Good,OleTom

Darrell,
You have a couple options ...
1. Hire a Sitesell webmaster to build your site; although you have to provide the content;
2. Hire a designer to design your site and a content writer to write your content; the designer could also put the content pages together and upload your site; they may even do maintenance as needed
For Sitesell, you can check out the info at:
http://directory.sitesell.com/
For designers/content writers, check out rentacoder.com or other freelance sites.

One thing to keep in mind is the designers experience in selling. This is crucial. Anytime I have built a page I have always had to "tweak" it a bit to get the conversion rate up.
Make sure the person will be available for requests down the road
Hope this helps!

If you are looking for someone to write content that will convert, you will pay considerably more for an experienced net copywriter. You have to remember ...
designers = design
writers = write
and a copywriter is a whole different story ... they are worth their weight in gold!
You can save a lot of money if you can do some of the above yourself.
Stillhill is right though in saying you will likely have to do some tweaking to improve conversions as you go along. It would be wise to either learn to do this yourself, or have someone lined up who is able to do it for you at a reasonable cost.

Marketing on the web doesn't take very much time and it costs practically nothing, if you're smart. It's not like the real world, everything's just a click away.
You'll forgive me for saying this, but you'd be better off learning how to build websites. Your words remind me of some of those I heard in 1999/2000.
Believe me, skipping the learning curve is not worth the expense of the inefficiencies you will create. |

Hi Darrell,
Before you run off and hire someone to build you a site. Take a look at what kind of site you want. There are many programs out there that offer professionally built customizable money making websites at a fraction of the cost it would take to hire a webdesigner.
You may want to look at a few of those before you make a decision. I personally recomend the one I use (it's a biased view, I know ). Check my sig file.
If your looking to make a site for your own personal product or affiliate program, than you may want to hire that webdesigner. But don't waste your money to have some college kid throw together a few grapics and place a couple links to your affiliate sites on one page.
Hope this helped you out.
Glad to be of service,
