Post subject: My Articles in my Own Website
|
|
|
I've read out there that if I post my articles in my
own website, this will be beneficial for Search Engines rankings.
The supporters of this idea say that when the spider finds new content in the "article section" of a website , this will lead to better ranks.
Sounds well, but I cannot find too much logic on this.

The logic that you've mentioned isn't correct or I'm having a tough time understanding it.
When you post articles on your site, you can possibly get found in the search engines for that topic of your page.
Your pages are ranked ...it's not just a single domain ranking.
When you get quality links to your pages internally or externally, then the pages will increase in rankings. In many cases, since most sites have links to the home page, those pages pass rank to the home page...thus helping your home page increase in rankings.

Hi Dan99, it's pretty simple really. If your website contains keyword rich unique content that is relevant to your website, then it will assist in "rankings".
If you're talking about including an article in your website that is yours but has been published elsewhere, then that is OK. A better practice would be to re-write the article before including it on your website.
Hope this helps. _________________ XSitePro Coupon

Hi,
I recommend you use original articles on your site. You can rewrite and retitle your existing articles. If you have original content on your site it will help with search engine traffic and it will keep more people on your site.

Strongly agree! I never mix website articles with articles destined for Article Directories.
One possible problem that might crop up - let's imagine that I post an article titled "Blogging Your Way to the Bank" And I also send it to EzineArticles.com, which, last time I checked, holds a PR 6. Sadly, my new site is, of course, a PR 0. Now let's suppose that Google recognizes the duplicate content - who's going to get the 'credit' for the article in the SERPS? Not me, that's for sure!
Of course that article will send me traffic - but I want the best of both worlds, I want traffic from Article Directories, improved SERPS & PR from those Article Directory links, and I also want to be recognized as a quality site by Google for original content.
Another reason I never mix articles is that articles that I post to my own site tend to be longer, and more detailed, than I'd send off to the Article Directories. Not a preferable situation, I really should take more time on submissions... merely the pragmatic facts... _________________ How to Build a Website |

If you plan on becoming an authority website and those articles are quality I would keep them on my own website. Now, if you plan on making it a mini site and just need some backlinks I would submit to ezine and some other directories for backlinks. Short or longterm. _________________ travel agency , cruises , flights |

Of course it will help your rankings. After all, the point is to have the highest quality content on your site. The articles, posted on article directories are just spoilers so people can come to your site wanting more and deeper information. _________________ ===> GET A PERMANENT JOB AS ARTICLE WRITER <===
