      Post subject: Blog Content?

Hello everyone. Sorry if this has been answered before,I used the search function but could not find a definite answer. My questions are these: when setting up a blog how do you fill it with meaningful content? I mean I know you can write articles and all of that but what if you really don't know enough about the product you are promoting? Are you able to use articles from article directories, but just rewrite them in your own words? Also,if you have several domain names (like I do) would it be feasible to match affiliate programs to them and build a blog around them? Any thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm hear to learn and I've got nothing but time on my hands. Thanks! Smile

Who is going to read your blog, and can you provide real value to your visitor?

If an article is well written, and you have republishing rights you may in fact be the first person to put it in front of your customer. Customer first thinking should be your focus.

TV stations do NOT develop content. They publish it. They buy content they think their customers will watch.

If you are not writing your own, then you need to think this way with your duplicate content publishing efforts.

You have good questions.

If you don't know enough about a product to promote it you can proceed if you have confidence in the merchant. Some merchants provide contents for their products which you can use.

You can also spend a few minutes doing a review to determine if it is a product you want your visitors to see. Blog on what you find.

It would help if you know about the category. example:you know about cars to promote products about cars. Then you can write on what you already know.

People like choices. I would build a blog for each niche and have a few different products reviewed. Some good, some not so good. Makes it more believable as a review blog.

For content in a niche you don't know much about I go do a search on ezinearticles. Make a list of the most viewed articles on that topic and use those titles for my blog posts. Just change them up and rewrite the articles in your words making sure to use about 4 keyword phrases in the article plus the main keyword phrase you are optimizing for. Main keyword - in title, in first paragraph, in middle paragraph and in the last paragraph. The others just used once in the content.

I would also save your content and rewrite them into fresh articles with different titles and submit them to ezinearticles and maybe goarticles for links to your blog. Lot quicker to rewrite fast, you will have a lot of info in your head by now.

Have you fully researched your product, read other peoples blogs and sites similar to what your topic is then you will have an insight into what works for your product.

The content of your blog should be information that is useful to people in the niche you are targetting. You need to first identify who your market are and then identify their needs and cater to it

It is possible to start a blog about a subject you have no real interest in and fill it with reprint articles but long term that will not bring good rankings or traffic.

Personally i only blog about something i can carry off reasonably well by either having a passion for the subject or plenty of knowledge about it.

Thais right writing about the subject which you don't know or the one in which you don't have interest will not help much.. So I would suggest to do something which will not turn into scam later..

At the end of the day there really is no short cut to research. If you do not know about the niche, you can get a ghost writer to write original articles for you

But you will have to learn about the niche yourself eventually and generate some original content of your own
Of course if you have the money to pend, you can continue to use a ghost writer

The problem with blogs is you want to attract a loyal following. It just does not work if your content is stuff they have already read on other sites

Some people use PLR articles and articles from article directories to generate content for their blogs but I am not aware of anyone that is widely successful doing this

If you do not understand your product then you cannot sell your product. Sorry.

I strongly feel that the only way that you can effectively work a niche is by understanding it. Otherwise, what if someone asks you a question? So study, read up.

Content is the heart of your blog.
Quality content should be the content that the people
in your market are looking for.

If the content you are providing are common information
that your market can find anywhere, then your blog
will just another 'normal' blog.

It is always a wise choice to re-write all those
articles with your own words.

After you've got your post published and there are
a lot of responses to that post, it may be a good
content.

People like 'tips' kind and 'how to' kind of article
more than facts.

By the way, write in conversational style like
how you talk to your friends.

Hope this helps... Very Happy

yes, at first choose your theme. post tips or suggestion which people want regarding that subject find related problem and explain it. you can also write about latest happenings, news etc. discuss these topics on your blog earliest than other blogger. Try to be initiator.

Yea, I agree with that as well. You should buy the
product and use it yourself before you start to
promote it to other people in your market.

Think of it for the long-term. If you recommend good
products that people really like about and that product truly help them to solve their problems, they will take on seriously on your second
recommendation. Which will lead to future sales.

However, if you just blatantly wanted to make money
and simply promote products without knowing any
detail about the products, you know the results.

you must be committed to writing in your blog on a regular basis. Make regular blog posts and have conversations with your readers. If someone asks a question the answer it. This will create more traffic for your blog.
