Hi
As I said in my title . I am trying to find the best , most versatile , reliable and easy to use web host.
I am a very artistic, and creative person , and I am looking for a web host that offers a lot of these type of features.? (I own Front page but I do not find it all that easy to use).
At present I am with a company called SBI or site build it - . They are a good company, but cost $300 per year, and as I am going to be making up another site & I would like to use another web host that costs a lot less per year, but has similar functions or better.
I have also heard that it is advisable to buy your domain name from a separate source.
Are there any companies that any of you can recommend ?
A company that offers Web management services ?
If possible I would like a web host that will submit to search engines & advertise my site ? (some companies do that for you - or at least they say they do) ?
Talking about the amount of web space & bandwidth one needs ?" what is the largest amount of each a website would ever possibly need ? (lets say for a 100 page website).
Also a web host that has fairly straightforward & easy to use web building software.
Putting it all in a nutshell. “ I am looking for, the easiest and on the whole best way of putting up a website “.
Any feedback would be great .

Hey Craig
I've been doing this stuff for a while now and I don't know if you can find a site that will do what you want to do for less money.
Now if you're just looking for hosting, that's a different matter. There are many cheaper hosting companies out there.
Can you expand on what you want to do?

Hmm, it's not too likely you will find a solution that is both a lot better and a lot cheaper than SBI.
However, you should be able to find a variety of hosts that are similar, and where you pay by the month, instead of by the year.
If you choose a small company instead of a large one, you can get a lot more personal attention from the owners of the host you choose.
If a similar service to SBI, that bills monthly, and offers more personal attention is suitable, I can help, and would be happy to let you test my service free for a month.
If cheaper is your main focus, the others will likely have many suggestions.

| From my experience the best way to go is with domain names from Namecheap and hosting from Hostgator. Namecheap domains go live almost instantly and hostgator is really cheap and has cpanel administration with fantastico that allows you to build wordpress blogs pretty easily. |

| you can try youneedhost, they use fantastico and cPanel. Plus they have over 600 free templates and a blog sitebuilder. You can be hosted with unlimited concurrent connections also. That can be a great deal because hostgator do not provide you enought connections to have more than 50 concurrent viewer on your account. That means that if you have 3 wen=bsite, you can just have 50 viewers at a time for the 3... |

I saw your message here and I too have been looking long and hard for the easiest, fastest way to get a website up and I also wanted it to be very flexible. The two options I have settled on is firepow.brightfuturebuilders.com and brightfuturebuilders.com. I hope it is okay to post these links here. I did a lot of resarch to find these. I hope they help you too.

Just putting a site up quickly isn't necessarily the right solution. You need to do it well and that takes planning and research. You can't rush success.
I created my sites with SBI! and they are going strong. My resume site alone makes about $1500 per month just from Adsense.
If you do it right, you'll make money.
