Post subject: A Rookie in SpeedPPC Territory!

Hello all. I want to give a personal account of my past weeks of using, testing, learning SpeedPPC (from here on SPPC) spanning the the trialperiod plus one week. Also the results of my first campaign (Google) promoting a few products from the Kingdom of Pets productline. Actually I don't know or care how long the trialperiod is because there is no way I would ever return this awesome tool. SPPC delivers 200%, the support is 200% and the training material is 200%. Reena Shohet, known on the SPPC forum as Reena SpeedPPC, is contributing so much and created superb training video's and is a living example of how an Internet Marketer should operate. Thank you Reena!
There is a member of this forum by the name of "guest" who always says that you have to have a plan before setting out doing anything in I.M.
When the plan works, scale it. If the plan does not work, go back and retool, refine and rework the plan. Important for success is that you have a plan. I'm sure all will agree with this. When I bought and downloaded my copy of SPPC I had made a plan consisting of the following steps:
learn the basics first (go through all the training material)
Do some "dry swimming" tests (build campaigns with the campaignbuilder, you can use all the examples Reena gives, never mind the outcome, it's about YOU learning to use the program and its options)
Do your product and keyword research (yes! you still need to do that)
Get my feet wet with my first SPPC build campaign and analyze the results
So I did and apart from the tool itself which is so fantastic to work with, my first campaign (Adwords) gave me a Google quality score of "great" for keywords and ads, "good" for the landing page. For a first campaign this I consider a success. My average cost per click went down as my click through rate went up. This was a "real life" test and I stopped the campaign after 2 days to analyze. I went into my stats and saw that the bulk of the visitors did not spent very long at my landing page so I need to do the rework on that one. I have to create a landing page for every adgroup and believe me, with SPPC you CAN do almost anything with landing pages. I have to make them "dynamic" as shown in yet another training video at the member area of SPPC. The conversion was not as good as I expected and I already mentioned this campaign needs more tuning. Recently I joined "NichBot" for keyword research and I can use it to broaden my research for above mentioned campaigns and the others I have set up right now. Still a lot to learn for me but I know SPPC delivers and I will improve my results in the weeks to come
If you are in pay per click, get SPPC, it's a powerhouse and very, very stable.
This testimonial is not a ploy to lure you into buying anything, to proof this point I took away my signature so no links from me to anywhere at this moment.
Best regards and have a nice weekend.

Hi C.F., Thanks for your kind words about SpeedPPC and Reena. We're very fortunately to have her on our team.
It sounds as though you're putting in some good solid learning. People who are prepared to do that are the ones who do well with PPC. _________________ Allan Gardyne

No mention Allan, I really am very content with this product and Reena is indeed so helpfull and responsive. If a product is good it will spread by word of mouth also. SPPC is a tool that needs practise and learning and I made great progress with the "single core" part of SPPC. I have an old fashioned writepad full of notes as I methodically jot down reminders, to do things, and how to's. I am now in the prgress of creating my own dynamic landing pages using Jay's templates as examples and J. van Clute' video on this topic.
I told Reena last week that creating PPC campaigns with SPPC is like having Harry Potter sitting next to you with his magical stick, rolling out PPC campaigns with lightning speed, matching Google's quality score while I'm having a coffee.
I am determined to learn and master SPPC and put in the time and effort, I know I can and I will. Pay per click is no "walk in the park" nowadays so I have to do everything to educate myself if I want to be successfull.
Will let this forum know how I'm doing with my next campaign(s), I really recommend this tool to everyone doing PPC.
Best regards,
C.F. |
