Post subject: website software AP can recommend

| Is there such thing as a website builder software and hosting site specifically for affiliate marketers. Much like xsitepro? Can someone recommend a cheaper one? |

Remember...you get what you pay for....I would recommend XSitePro or SiteBuildIt.
Spend the money up front. It is well worth it. Go cheaper with less options and it will probably retard your business development.

XsitePro is as good as they come for basic easy to use creation tools. I personally no longer use it as I had too many problems with it for the projects I do. I won't get into those problems now.
Allan is a big advocate of SBI and it's an effective alternative but not cheaper, until you consider it does include hosting and a host of research tools. It's a good place to get your feet wet, because if you will follow the step by step instructions you really can't make a bad site.
My choice for any new marketer is to find a host they trust (I won't get into the hosting argument I use many) and take the time to learn to install Wordpress (Manually not with Fantastico). Learn how to use wordpress, then find the plugins and a great looking template.
Wordpress.org is free software. I would NOT Recommend Wordpress.com because they control your destiny.
Wordpress is an amazing piece of software.
I am also a big big fan of Joomla. It looks intimidating at first. But again if you will invest the time in learning the benefits are far reaching.
Both are server based, which is good and bad. Be sure to do backups. _________________

Personally, I recommend Success Life Network. The hosting plan includes a wide variety of features that you will want to take advantage of and includes literally hundreds of templates you can use to get started with building your site.
Affiliate marketers are drawn to Success Life Network for the powerful features, excellent pricing, and lucrative income opportunity. _________________ -----------------------------

Brian, Just a reminder... We don't discuss MLM programs on this forum. That's not our niche. _________________ Allan Gardyne

I second the option to use either XSitePro, or SBI. They are different products, and aren't really competitors. I'd lean towards SBI if you're new to affiliate marketing. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Why? What is the advantage of installing manually?
As long as they are both the current version, what does a manual install give you that using Fantastico does not?
. |
If Fantastico lets you install automatically, just use it. WP even has some auto-update features now too!
The only thing you'd still have to manually install, is a custom theme (one that wasn't provided by Fantastico) or plugins. But if you can FTP, you can install those easy. _________________ Eric D. Burdo

I agree on using Site Build It. I had (well still have it) XSite Pro, and while it made it somewhat easy to build the sites, I didn't know what else to do with it.
Instructions (when I first got XSite Pro 2.5 years ago) were to head to an article hub, grab some articles, then post them.
They never said anything about special keywords, where to PLACE the keywords, how to get traffic, etc.
SBI tells you all that and MUCH MORE. There is really no comparison. _________________ MJ
