Without knowing more about what you're doing and how you're doing it, two possibilities come to mind:
1. Your marketing attracts the wrong folks.

Yup. I agree with dgeer.
Also, your volume of clickthroughs might still not be enough to convert into sales. I've seen many clickthrough conversion ratios standing at the 0.5% to 1.5% levels.
So sometimes, to get even a single sale, you'll need about 50 to 150 clicks.

Or as many as 1000...
...only to find you then get a rush of sales to average things out.
I realise large samples can seem like they take an age to gather when starting out, but small samples are not significant.
