How is it that you get good results from images on google?


I am told that if i name the image a keyword then that will get great results.. but i am not sure.

Could someone share there views on this.

Yes you are correct. Also use ALT attibutes with proper keywords.

Try to use text instead of images to display important names, content, or links. The Google crawler doesn't recognize text contained in images.

Placing the images in the website will get fast traffic and fast indexing in the google. Because images has the more value than the content.

Placing the images related to the content is the better idea and we can get traffic easily.

You place alt tags on images so that people who visit your site will know what an image is about if it doesn't load.

Write short descriptive tags with keywords that make sense to your subject.

Your site gets crawled. Your images get indexed.

This may bring traffic to your site from people who are using image search.

Is this good traffic? Depends on why the individual searched for the image.

Do you want a lot of image traffic if it doesn't convert?

If it is image SEO main thing is "ALT" tag.

also try putting links to you image for the backlinks to you site, Just put it on ALT if it is image seo

ALT Tag is a HTML tag that provides another text when non-textual fundamentals, usually images, cannot be displayed. ALT tag provides further detail for an image or the destination of a hyperlinked image.
