Hi Anode,
Because SBI is perfect for newbies, or folks like myself who are technophobic (my cell phone baffles me!) folks often think that it is only for newbies.
This is not so.
By saying you are “an experienced web programmer” I assume you mean that you are perfectly capable of creating a site.
So how will SBI help you? SBI helps you build a business, not just a site. _________________ Why Do Most Affiliates Make Less Than $500 Per Month?

Hi Anode,
I too am an experienced web guy and have used SiteBuildIt to create a six figure income over the last few years.
SiteBuildIt has a suite of tools that allow you to build a business online, and not get bogged down with things like HTML and CSS etc..
However, you can design your pages offline and upload them to SiteBuildIt, this is what I do with www.updatexp.com . (around 15,000 unique visitors a day)
I know a lot of folks think SiteBuildIt is JUST for newbies but it is NOT its for use too.
And with the InfinIt module you can create subdomains and run any code PHP/Perl etc you want from a 3rd party website.
I use this for WordPress, Amazon S3 and NING.
Read Allan's review on here and use that link to grab yourself a subscription to SiteBuildIt today!

Hey! Thanks all! Great information!
This forum is one of the friendliest SEO/AM forums I've found. Really, really excited to see what I can learn here! |

I could not have managed without SBI when I first started and, thanks to it, have a reasonably profitable website.
I've reached the point where I'd like to turn my site into a proper business. For this, I will need to use things such as Marc mentioned - php, databases, possibly a booking engine.
Marc mentions he uses 3rd party websites for these. I know I'm entering this thread a little late, but would much appreciate advice on which 3rd party website would be best for php, databases and booking engines.
Thanks.

For people who want to have databases etc, SBI provides Infinit! which is an add-on service which uses another web host but makes everything all seamlessly integrated with your own site, as a subdomain, or subdomains. To achieve this it uses C name allocation. The host SBI uses for this is BlueHost. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Thanks very much for the reply Allan.
I had not looked closely at Infinit and had not realised its purpose. Will have to read it over carefully.
