Hi there.

I have a job website that attracts approximately 70,000 uniques a month and am looking for the best affiliate program(s) to compliment it. I have never tried this before but see it as a income generator. Can anyone advise.

Finding the right affiliate program is simply a matter of finding products related to your visitors

I would start by finding out what your visitors are actually looking for - you could try doing a web-based survey to find out if you are not sure

Something that would immediately spring to mind with a "job" related website would be "resume" type products and "how to do well at interviews" type products

There are a number of these kind of things around, and could provide a useful add-on for your web visitors

Run a contextual advertising campaign for a month using Adsense.

I am not an Adsense fan. Like a Casino, the odds are severely stacked in their favor.

But here is what I suggest you do and why.

Make sure you track every page you have the code listed on. I'd use a 3rd party tracking script so you know EXACTLY what was clicked on.

With the kind of volume you are pulling you'll be able to analyze your customer behavior.

Once you know what they are clicking on you'll know what kind of affiliate programs can be effective for your traffic.
