Y0 everyone
Does anyone know how long google takes to realise you have backward links including internal links? It doesent seem to know my site, has internal links at all. Ive noticed other sites seem to get better ranking, through internal links, and also links from other domains.
James optimizes sites by internal linking to get better results, just wondering how come google doesent seem to recognise, that I have any other links coming in
Kind regards

I would create a sitemap that lists all of your pages, with a short paragraph, then submit that to Google directly. That will help get those internal pages picked up.
I would also go to each site that has your link on it, and click the link to help the VE bot pick it up, then I would also submit those offsite pages to Google directly.
Google does things in its own time frame, unfortunately but doing the above should help speed things up a bit.
There are also several posts regarding checking links to be sure they can be indexed on other sites that you may want to search for on here.

Hi Debs forgive my ignorance, can you clarify what you mean by a site map? Just a page with all my links on, then a paragraph explaining this is a site map of my site etc?
greatly appreciated, thanks again for your time Debs
Kind regards

No a sitemap is list of all links to your pages. I recommend you also include a paragraph explaining where each link leads, with the link. So you would end up with a
link
paragraph
link
paragraph
link
paragraph
etc

Also, Google doesn't show all backward links. It only shows links from pages with page rank of 4 and above. But, even though it doesn't show all links, it still counts all of them (those it knows about) when calculating your page rank.
