If you are involved in any way with affiliate marketing you might want to take a look at this:

I'd say that it is a very serious issue whether you are based in New York or not.

The phrase Thin end of the Wedge springs to mind.

It's serious and needs to be beaten, I believe it can be. But the word needs to be spread.

This whole NY debacle has been discussed since day 1 with good coverage over at ABW as it's own sub forum in the Affiliate Legal Lounge.

Not sure if I can post the link since it is another forum, however, since it may be for the good of all NY affiliates on this forum, and affiliates in general, I will. If this violates AP's rules, I'm sure Wally will moderate this post.
