Hello,

I'm building a keyword list for a specific Panasonic camera, model and number. Following the advice of a Super Affiliate, I'm going wide first on my keyword selection (related-lateral keywords), however I have a couple of questions:

1. How do I go wide when the product is so specific? I come up with depth words like:
buy Panasonic, Panasonic sale, Panasonic accessories, Panasonic review, etc.

2. Should I put Panasonic-model on all of my keywords to avoid unwanted (untargeted) clicks? or

3. Should I just use Google's Keyword Tool and type "Panasonic digital camera", and use the keywords on that list, then test it on a campaign and once I get some feedback then go deep on my keyword list (keyword variations?

Thanks,

I agree with #3, but you can also go to eBay to see what kinds of keywords sellers are using in their listings for Panasonic products.

Griser,

You could try Wordtracker, get a one day subscription for only 8 dollars and you will come out with a treasure trove of keywords related to your Panasonic camera.

Regards,

Hi Griser,

I think it depends on how you write your content.

If you use “Panasonic digital camera” but not the specific model number in your keyword phrases, then obviously you will attract folks with an interest in Panasonic digital cameras.

So you could write general information about Panasonic cameras and steer them to the specific model.
