Hi,

I have put a alert on Google for "Affiliate Marketing" and "My Internet Business". But 95% of all people are saying the same stuff over and over again.

Why? Is it because people are all learning from the same "Guru's" or does everyone think he/she have the answer to the question.

Can somebody please give me a good answer, because the newbies out there can get confused with all the techniques but at the end it is all the same just written in a different way.

Ernst

Most of the "how to's" that you read online are generalizations of one school of thought or another. A lot of the general guidelines will seem (on the surface) very similar. I find that as you dig deeper into different areas of internet marketing, the differences in the "little things" become apparent. Keep in mind that there is a LOT to learn and the learning process should focus on one area at a time (affiliate marketing, SEO, site development, etc.).

Even within the different areas of online business development, there are so many subcategories that it is very easy to lose focus and experience information overload. Keep reading, researching and learning, but don't get into "paralysis by analysis." TRY OUT things while you're learning. You will make mistakes, but that's o.k. The process is a very long one.

If you've got more time than money, most everything you need can be learned for free online. Sifting through all the clutter is the challenge. I'd stay away from most of the quickie ebooks being offered. There are a VERY FEW in-depth courses available online that can help and speed up the learning process, but these courses are not particularly cheap and still require a commitment of time and effort on your part. Good luck.

I think there is a lot of good information available, but after awhile it can all start to seem the same.

The one big difference is getting traffic. There is nothing similar about pay per click advertising and article marketing for example. Once you get your website or blog set up and ready to go just concentrate on getting visitors and it will never seem the same again. Very Happy

Hi Ernst,

If I were reading books wanting to learn 'How to . . .something' I think I would find it a little reassuring to find that all authors gave similar advice Smile

Here's a How to from some bloke who will give similar advice when he thinks that is best, but when thinks differently to the crowd he will say so . . .
