I would like to do a affiliate promotion on adwords after signing up they are asking for my tax details as I do not have a business name can I still do google adwords without a business name and in my personal name,pls could someone advice about u.k. tax law concerning google adwords.

I know in the US alot of people use adwords and use social security number. Not sure what they do in Uk. Can you have a buisness in the Uk and use Tax personal info if so i bet it would be the same for google.

Essentially yes. If you set up as a Sole Trader then your business will be registered under your name, whether you choose a trading name or not.
eg. As a Sole Trader in the UK, you will either be registered with the Inland Revenue as:
hitesh
or as
hitesh trading as "SuperCyber Systems"
Either way, it's the same thing to them. |
