Post subject: What should my next move be?
|
|
|
I decided to get on the wagon and start off by taking the "Affiliate Program" road.
What should I be looking for in a good program?
Also should I:
? Join many to generate multiple small gains?
? Total focus on a select few?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I don't mind investing the time. If something is worth investing my time in. I will go all out. But one thing I don't want is to invest a lot of time in the wrong vehicle. I did that for 20 years and to be honest with you it?s not a pleasant ride when the destination is ?poverty?. Financialy of course, not mental poverty.
Now I have a philosophy I like to stick to and it's..."Only take advice from people who have the results you are working towards"
The problem is here on the web it's kind of hard to know who actually has the results and who is just blowing smoke so as you can see I?m a little hesitant to just go ahead and try what the first comer has to offer...nothing personal. Other than gut feeling how does one filter through the BS ?
I would however like to say that so far I have had replies from great well intended people. I have to say I was expecting something a little different....like for instance getting spammed left right and center by hard selling individuals.
Thanks again for all the help!

How about following the Message Board guidelines and do a considerable browse of the topics in the forums offered here and spend some time studying the parent site, AssociatePrograms.com - THEN ask more specific questions.
That's the way to go!

Wally is right on with that ... browse the forums, and make sure you read the main AP site, as well as Allan's newsletter archives ... the best teacher you will ever have!

It's like anything else in life - real evidence or gut feeling. Experience makes the gut feelings more accurate... from my experience.
Remeber though, there is no "silver bullet", "golden secret" or anything else. One person's "great opportunity" is another person's dead end road. Not because it's a scam, but because we're all different.
I'd start by trying to identify people you'd like to believe because of the way they do things. Then ask others' opinions of these people. Generally, you will find good people tend to know other good people.
One warning though...
Be wary of taking much notice of public criticism when assessing others. Why is it being directed? What axe have they to grind?
It's very easy to criticise people who achieve a lot. Take everything in context. Some of the people I criticise and argue with the most, I also happen to respect the most.
It's the people who attract no opinions that are the ones you want to be wary of.
Hope this helps,
Charlie. |

Hi Charlie,
Hope you're doing great!
I agree with you. The higher you climb the more your butt sticks out therefore the more kicks it?s likely to receive
Thanks for bringing it up I think others need to be reminded of that, or hear it for the first time, whatever the case may be.
Thanks!
