I am new to web marketing. I have a website with my own product that I would like to list on ClickBan offering a high commission. How do I give my affiliates a sales page and thank page exactly like mine for them to promote my product? I used xSite pro to build my sales page and thank you page. Can my affiliates use these pages and if so what do I need to do to give it to them with the correct url? I prefer to offer them my webpages so they don't have to create one, to preserve my brand imaging, and to prevent any possible misrepresentation if they feel they need to create their own version. I also want to protect my sales price--is this possible?. I hope I have stated this clearly. Thanks! javascript:emoticon('Smile')

You don't have to. ClickBank will give each affiliate a unique link to use which will take visitors to your sales page.

Also, because affiliates' websites vary hugely, if you gave them a page to add to their site, the page would look out of place - it wouldn't match the design of their site. So it would look like advertising.

One available option with ClickBank is to provide your affiliates with a link which takes the visitor directly to your order form instead of to your sales page. If you were doing this and wanted to try to maintain control of what your affiliates said, you'd have to give them sales material they could paste into their site.

However, that's not usually how efficient affiliate marketing works. The best performing affiliates usually review a product and presell in their own words. Top affiliates won't want to use the same material that everyone else is using.

Join ClickBank as a merchant and you'll receive instructions from ClickBank on how to proceed.

Good luck! Tending affiliates is a bit like herding cats. With ClickBank, you don't have access to your affiliates and may not even know who your affiliates are, unless you use add-on management software like EasyClickMate and ask your affiliates to sign up through your site, instead of through the ClickBank site.

The vast majority of affiliates will simply send visitors to your sales page and whatever price you have chosen will be the sales price.

It's possible in extremely rare cases that a very keen, hard-working affiliate may offer buyers a rebate if they buy through that affiliate's link. Then the affiliate would share some of his/her commission with the customer. The amount of money you received wouldn't change.

If you want to scare away that keen, hard-working affiliate, you could sign affiliates up ONLY through your site, using EasyClickMate, and have a rule that no rebates are allowed.

Allan,

Thanks for such a concise yet thorough education! It appears I have stumbled upon the right place at the right time, not to mention avoiding some costly errors. So this will be a win-win, saving me a huge amount of time and effort leaving me to produce what I do best, and leave the marketing to affiliate experts. It's too bad I can't thank affiliates through Click Bank. Perhaps if some come to your forum I can post again with results and to thank them then.

Take care.

All the best,
DF
