i have not started on the affliate 'stuff' but i soon will be as soon as i read some more things on allen's newsletters (great stuff). lets get to the main question ...who has bought a new (or used) vehicle from using the money from the affliate jobs?
its not something i concern but i am just wondering, i love cars so why not discuss about dem too |

This is an odd question. I bought a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS for me and a 1999 Mercury Cougar for the gf.
I'm really wanting a corvette, but i was quoted $1500 a month for insurance, so I'm waiting until i turn 25.

I'm going for a Ferrari with all those "Italian millions".

| In three months I've made enough money to cover four payments on my current car. |

I'm an old man in this business, with my first domain going back to 1997.
But since then, I've bought (and resold) a Hyundai Tiburon. I replaced it with a Subaru WRX. Also have a Jimmy which I'll probably trade in for a mini-van next year (family, you know).
Not exactly answering the question, but the Internet has also (mostly) paid for my house. _________________ JP Sauve

Sorry. I can't boast about a shiny new vehicle. We have an old Mitsubishi Magna in Australia and an old Toyota Chaser in New Zealand. I forget what years they are. As long as they're comfortable and they go, that's all I care about.
We like to invest in things that appreciate in value, so we're putting our affiliate commissions into shares and seaside properties.

I've never heard of either of them, so they must be old.

When it comes to comfort, a lot depends how long you plan in spending in the vehicle...
I like to go on driving tours of Europe. Mountains are my favourite. I once did 5000 miles in 9 days - the vast majority of it on back roads in rural Spain. I was spending 12 plus hours a day at the wheel (including brief stops to take photos).
[OK, maybe not everyone's idea of a relaxing break, but who wants to be "normal"? ]
I had (and still have) an Audi A4. "She" is eight years old now, but I can honestly say I have never been able to drive a car for so long without getting any aches and pains. (Just minor spinal compressions. No pain.)

I don't blame you...
I like travel, too. With the help of a few photos, memories depreciate far more slowly than cars, from my experience.
All the best,
Charlie. _________________ "Before I speak, I have something important to say."

My websites are buying me a new car, but only about 5% of the revenue is affiliate programs (products, services, and ad sales account for the rest). I'm a modest kind of guy, so probably will get a Toyota Highlander or something like that. _________________ http://www.smallbusinessforum.com

Guest? Who are you referring to?
My affiliate income right now is going towards getting me out of debt.
Then I will worry about a house and/or car... _________________ Eric D. Burdo

Affiliate marketing is a $95 billion industry that is expected to grow to about $230 billion by 2008, according to an August 2003 report by Forrester Research.
Yes, it's definitely awesome! I keep thinking I'm just scratching at a tiny corner of it. _________________ Allan Gardyne

Well, Allen...
I don't want to get personal with you (which i don't think i am allowed to ), but could you tell us what your average monthly payment is? It's fine you don't have to, just a curious question. I am learning to make good banners so I can start my advertisings. I hope things work out. Also, have you guys notice ads about ebay and such, they are making TONS of money! I guess they put in "too" much work into advertising, eh? |

Before you spend to much time and effort on banners, you might want to check around the forums about banner advertising... see what the general consensus is... _________________ Eric D. Burdo
