I have a worpress.com blog which I basically use to attract traffic to my web as well as backlinks.

I have read somewhere that this kind of uses could be spam in google´s eyes, and your web could be penalized for this.

Any opinion about this?

A blog is not generally spam, it's a great way to get a presence in a market. Only if you use duplicate content or scrambled content, then google would penalize that and you will not rank or disapppear from the SERPs.

If you write good original content, all is very fine!

What I mean is that the spam would come from putting too links in your blog towards your own website.

this type of practice, can be considered as spam?

In some other forum it is being commented that placing links in your blog exclusively towards your web is a black hat practice.

In any case I don´t find any other reason for my website´s ranking drop.

Others comment there is too much internal linking, a spam signal too.

here is my website [URL deleted - Please, use your signature file - Moderator]

I would appreciate an opinion of what is going on with my web.

I don't think such will be considered as spam or Black Hat. Just a rule of thumb though, too much linking to a single site may have adverse effects, especially if it they are hosted in the same server Wink
