Well I usually do 4-5 posts per page ..all limited to 250 chars with a Read more button.
I'm doing like this with the idea in mind that if some one is not interested in first subject ,may be he's interested in second or third... Anyway not too many otherwise your blog will looks like craiglist hehe _________________ RichBeaver - The truth behind sales letters

I'm not sure that it matters all that much. I keep 8 or 9 posts on my home page, but I've seen others with varying amounts. _________________ Catherine Lawson's Business Advice Blog |

Depending on the length of your posts, I would have around a weeks worth on the front page. If your posts are really long I would put less on the front page.
Categories are very helpful for readers that want to read more on a particular subject. _________________ www.MarketLeverage60milewalk.com - Affiliate Marketers Giving Back for Breast Cancer |

I try and stick to between 3 and 4 that is a nice balance but is not too big to affect downloading speed. _________________ Slim Tea Diet

I think you have to strike a balance between having some content on there and going a bit too far i always try and keep it to about 3 posts that seems to work well for me. _________________ Slim Tea Diet

Think of your reader. At some point scrolling becomes tedious. I always organize content so it will display normally on a 17" screen set at 1024x768 and consider that to be a standard for what I am doing.
I try not to make users have to use the mouse to scroll for any of my most important items. _________________

It depends on the design of your blog.
Some blogs have 4 or 5 full posts on their main
page and still works great.
Test and tweak for the optimum results.. |
I think 4-5 posts may look good and comfortable for the viewers. _________________ Website Design Professional Web Design SEO Services Company |
