Is there a best time when one
should put in their affiliate links.
I have been spidered by 3 SE within
my 1st month and a half one being
Google.
So far I have not put in any affiliate links yet.
I have not been found by any keywords yet.
Is it too early for aff. links.
Any suggestions.
Thanks,
Jeremy |

Jeremy, SE's don't care if you have affiliate links so don't let that stop you.
However, if you want to get listed in some of the directories, particularly Zeal, then don't put them in. Also, if you submitted to Yahoo via free submission you might want to wait. However, with Zeal you have to be an editor before you can submit your site, and it has to be what they call "non-commercial."
DMOZ is known for disliking affiliate sites, but will accept them. The problem in waiting for DMOZ is it can takes months! As can Yahoo, sometimes longer.
Only you can decide if you want to wait or not. But don't wait for the search engines, they don't care.
