I am getting traffic... slowly but surely. About 40 uniques a day right now, give or take. However, very little is clicking through. So, what can I do to change that.
I know that I need to presell... but that is not something I have mastered yet, so if you have advice, please be specific.
On the side... if you notice anything wrong (spelling errors, layout doesn't look ok in your browser, etc) let me know as well.
Eric, you have some good basic information on drop shipping, but it seems a little sparse and more a rehash of Malta's site.
Have you done dropshipping? If so, how about some tips and tricks of yours?
It is very hard to sell something without good content that presells, as you already mentioned. So this is something I think you need to really work on. With only a handful of pages, you just aren't going to get the quantity of visitors you need to convert traffic to sales.
Get more content, offer actual examples of products (Malta's excuse is garbage in my mind), explain how to do a sales site, how to set up a shopping cart, walk them through it. This is how you presell. I did dropship gift sales for 3 years so I know what's involved. Be honest, give them the pros and cons, and let them decide for themselves. Help them price their products reasonably so they don't get killed.

Eric,
nice site.
some minor comments:
When you link to an other site, like on the
"Developing a Successful E-Commerce Website" page with the goldrush theme, let it open in a separate window, so your site is still available to the visitor.
On the "Tools" page, last topic, second to last paragraph, last 2 sentences:
aa) should read: ...most people do
bb) should read: They go find ...

Hi Eric,
Change your headline! You are simply repeating your url that is just above it.
Try something like:
Drop shipping is exciting, very simple, and can be a VERY profitable way to work from home and become your own boss.
Your opening sentence is really weak, you are basically saying, "well, you are here, I guess you must be interested in my site, and it must be this, or maybe it is that..." No, no, no
Grab them by the hand, say something like:
I am going to show you exactly what you need to do to get started right away to create your own Drop Shipping Business, and I am going to reveal some very specific tips you should know that will save you an enormous amount of time and money.
Eric, I just continued reading, but it was very unclear for me what you want your visitors to do. Do you want them to sign up to the Drop Ship Source Directory? You left me completely hanging... not good.
What's your MWR (most wanted response)? If it is to get them to sign up to some service, then you need to do some more persuading here.
I obviously can't rewrite your whole page, but I immediately saw potential here - don't be hesitant in your writing, try and give clear direction, again, full of benefits.
At the end of your last sentence, don't just leave them hanging, tell them where to go, tell them exactly what their options are, and which option you sincerely recommend. Links up on the left aren't enough. You have to say, click here, or go to..., I recommend you start here... etc.

Thank you everyone. I have started making some of the changes suggested. One of the problems that I have with the site is that it is a joint effort. So I have to get the "OK" to make changes to the site. Not the best approach really...
I am going to try adding more content and broaden some of the categories. Still keep the site about drop shipping, but add some articles about home based businesses and such, to grab some more traffic.
I hope you don't mind Tim, but I used your wording almost exactly. If you want me to change it, say so. I will rewrite it. _________________ Eric D. Burdo They Made $6,513 a day With Clickbank Doing This...
