Hi guys, this is Tomas Loden over in Sweden
I'm just going to launch a ppc campaign for one of my sites
and I need some advice and help ..It's very hard to find information on the net about ppc
minisites or how to build sites for ppc advertising on the net without getting bombarded
with "how to" programs, ebooks, services, guides, etc etc..
There are so many people making ridiculous claims, it's insane.
It's like day after day, you get hit with hype pitch after hype pitch.
- I'm now averaging over $300 a day in profits from my google adwords site
- Wow, $352 in one day from my brand new minisite...
- $250 in one day from Google AdWords
- $199 in one day from my PPC mini site
- how to easily design a compelling site (no special skills needed)...
etc, etc, etc
I wonder if anyone can point me at a site with a proven ppc sales rec where i can look at
the sales page and layout to learn more about internet marketing and
how to build a good site for ppc advertising.
If possible, please show me/us this forum,
A proven sales page with a proven sales record.
Exact ad results
Exact C/R, is it 2, 4, 6, or 29%...
The number of visitors sent to the site from the ad/s
The total amount of money made from the ad/s.
Which sites earn you money and which ones bomb?
etc, etc
I think alot of people want to see a proven winner,
to see that it is possible to make a living from this "internet marketing thing!..
I just want to know which type of web site for ppc adv pulls in the most orders per visitor.
In detail which ppc ads work?and which ones don't?
I'm not talking about huge affiliate sites, I'm just looking for a great mini site
or small content sites with great sales rec from ppc advertising.
I think alot of people on ths forum (and others) interested in online marketing
are interested to see how you ppc "gurus" out there are doing it..

I doubt you would find anyone willing to expose their page and ads that way since it would be copied. Ebooks are likely the only way you would find sites that work since the author would at least get some money for exposing their methods and sites.
Now, I could be wrong, of course, so since you are asking for the information, and appear to be doing well, why don't you start with your sites, facts, stats, etc. and see if anyone else wants to join in?

Hi Tomas
Debs is exactly right - if you want to see specifics, you'll usually have to pay for it.
Now, I don't use PPC anymore - why pay for the traffic when you can get it for free 
However, to make it profitable, you need to do the same thing that works with free traffic from the SEs. It's the choice of keywords that will control conversion rates to a large extent.
Choose keywords that tell you what the visitor is looking for and then send them to a page that pre-sells a product that they've already told you they want. Pre selling is pretty simple - often it's just a matter of giving the visitor information. If the keyword is not really an exact match for the product, you'll need to do a bit more.
Quite simply, an honest review will, in many cases, do the job.

Yes i agree, I doubt it too..
But how hard can it be for a guy with 20, 50 or even 100 sites to share his experience from just one of his sites..
- Just like Allan did with Ruperts cheap-computers-guide,
good and honest stats about a successfull site...
I'm not looking for the person with 1 or 2 sites working 24/7 to make a dollar or two (just like myself) from ppc advertising..I'm looking for all the big guys out there with lots of active sites..
I just want to see one site with some pretty basic stats..
that's it....

There is lots of information about running adwords campaigns here in these forums. Also when you come up with specifics about your campaign, others are likely to comment and advise.
This is all about give and take. So let us know where your exact problems are (one by one) and lots of people here will be happy to help.
As Debs already notet, probably no one will be giving away all details of his/her own strategies. You have to read between the lines and try out a lot.
Now, lets get started ....

Don't forget that first of all, Allan only talked about this site in his newsletter without geving any details regarding domainname. So it was quite secure.
Secondly, you can see c-c-g as a promotional tool to sell SBI. Allens Sites and accomplishments are referred to in the Sitesell newsletters and it is a very clever strategy.

Greetings to Sweden!
First: I do very well with PPC (Adwords and Overture) but I won't reveal
my sites, I also think that anyone who is doing well wouldn't share his
secrets, BUT you can find out how to do it alone. HOW????
Go to Overture and use their "Term search suggestion" tool:
http://www.content.overture.com/d/USm/adcenter/tools/index.jhtml
and search for any keywords like Casino, Gambling, Cars etc, etc.
Now use the "View Bids" Tool and type in the keywords you found and
check how much the people are bidding for a Top Three spot. Check
these sites, if you find people spending $1, $2, $3 or more for a Top Three
spot you could bet that they make money with their website.
