Yeah I'd say both text & image -- with a concentration on text linking options to various landing pages, not just the homepage. But if you haven't done so already i'd suggest testing & tracking the results for both text and image links to find out which ones work best for your particular niche. This would be very helpful data for you as well as your affiliate. In addition to doing your own testing you could also have a tracking feature embedded in your affiliate program that your affiliates can use on their own. Marketing without tracking is like marketing in the dark. _________________ *Viral Marketing Mix

I do like having banner links as well though, even though they might not convert as well. it can break up a boring template design. but the greatest response i've had is when i place a banner link in the content, directly in the view of the reader. _________________ http://www.headphonedeals.org Pay full price? A lot of people recognize or appreciate image rather than text.... For me you rather used image links to attract more customers and maximize their commission.. My advice is please have an image that can attracts or focus to customers

I would have to say text for now. I have just started doing this and I haven't tried images yet. From what I've heard from elsewhere, they both work pretty well.
Text is easy for me so I would just stick with text.

I prefer image links as people gets more attracted to images. and i had a good experience with it. Text links are sometimes over viewed and people does not see them. I get easy traffic through fancy banners and good product.

Both are important for different reasons. If I had to choose though, banners(image links) would take priority. _________________ Partner with America's Best! |
