Everytime I find myself explaining to a new girlfriend, or person I haven't talked to in a while, or just anyone in general exactly what I do on the internet to make money..I find myself fumbling for the right words to explain it and can never seem to find them. Can anyone help me sum up quickly what affiliate marketing actually is? And how to explain it to someone who doesn't understand?

You are a salesperson working on commission only. The internet is your customer base. Instead of going door to door, you open a door and customers come to you.

Just say your like a salesman at you local car
dealership.
every time you sell a car you get a commission.
Same thing with affiliate marketing.Every time
you sell an product you get a commission.
we all have had to explain this at one time are
another.
