I have gone back to add Google ads (ha add google ads--ad adds even) to two sites that got rejected last summer.

I have adsense running on many other sites. I suspect the two first sites I tried to get approved are being blocked via an IP or domain block. I have emailed google asking for the hoops to jump through.

They replied with the following:
Quote:

Thank you for your email. The AdSense ad code on the 'Ad layout code' page is valid for any page in any site on which you want to display AdWords ads. Once your sites are updated, simply add the HTML code to any page that complies with our program policies, and we'll automatically detect the new site. To place the script on a new site, please follow these
steps:

1. Log in to your account at https://www.google.com/adsense
2. Click the 'Ad layout code' link under the 'Settings' tab
3. Copy the ad code for the layout you want
4. Paste the code into the appropriate page on your site

Please note that we constantly monitor all of the web pages displaying AdWords ads. If we find that one of your web pages violates our policies, we will notify you and ask you to remove the AdSense ad code from that page.

Feel free to email us at adsense-support@google.com if you have additional questions or concerns. For technical support, please email
adsense-tech@google.com.

Sincerely,

The Google Team

As I wait I am wondering if any of you had the same experience with multiple sites. In retrospect I needed to just adjust one and keep applying. However, I had so many up and running I just threw em one after the other til they said yes to one.

Course of action you took? (I do appreciate a good theory debate, but not on this topic. LOL, what most people know about getting accepted is speculative and subjective. So, if you have not had the specific problem let me wring hands alone.)

P.s.
Not complaining I have many sites serving adwords just want my higher traffic sites to have the chance to make a bit of cash from it as well.

If the sites were originally rejected, you do need to request they be manually added. I am surprised you got the reply you did ... were you very specific about the prior rejection on these sites?

I suggest you ask them to check again.

One of the things I've found personally, as well as posted on forums, is that the replies are first "canned" in that they aren't really automatic, but try to respond to the general request ... more a cut and paste reply.

You need to reply back to them (with their email included) advising they didn't answer your question, to please address the issue of the rejected sites, listing the sites (and copies of the emails if you still have them).

That should get you fixed up, providing the rejected sites are now in compliance with Adsense requirements.

That is just what Google does, so yes they need to be manually approved to be able to register the imps and clicks.

My friend was having the same problem. Mail them that you fixed all the problems with your site and ask them to enable the ads for you.
For my friend it worked.

for future reference everyone was correct. Google just sent a form email. They since stated that even though my other site was accepted and I post those ads on all new sites I have to get the former rejected ones approved. So in essense it is the same as starting again with those. Tweak submit tweak submit.

LOL, its cool that you can continue and ask em if you passed. Man, if only schools tested like that I would not be as frustrated. (The way we do things--one chance to make it or not within childhood just aint the way the world works is it?)

Hello,

On this topic, if a new site is initially refused by Google for AdSense, is there an opportunity to modify the site for approval, or is their initial word final, and the domain never gerts approved?

Thanks.

You can get it approved... just go back and reread the FAQ for adsense... and read some of the advice here on getting your site submitted. Then make those changes and try again.

Just don't keep resubmitting in the hopes they will allow your site in... Research and make the changes...

Eric is right however ... when you reapply make sure you use the rejected email notice to do so. Just going and applying again won't help and you likely won't hear back. You need to reapply via email and a copy of the old rejected email helps clarify what's going on.

If you don't have the old rejected email, just make sure you explain what happened, the email and domain involved, and request reconsideration.
